Coming Up Daisies

This perky cascading three tier cake was made for a 90th birthday. What an accomplishment! The fun purple, rose and seafoam green daisies that echo the cascading form of the cake are all handmade and edible. Polka dots complete the festive look for an outstanding party cake!

"Let's go out to the ball game! ...where it's 1-2-3 strikes your out at the old ball game!"

This baseball and bat cake was a hit with our young New York Yankee's fan.

Waiting To Be Worn

A minature replica of the brides dress at her bridal shower. Fondant daisies with colored centers helped to pull in all of the colors that were used for the shower decorations.

Deshell

Graceful curving vines wrap around this beautifully simple three tier wedding cake. The textured fondant leaves add just a touch of color to the smooth surface of the fondant and echos the vine imprinted fondant cake base. The cascading flower bouquet shows off orchids and roses in green, pink, lavender, and purple.

Sparkler Cake

What says patriotic more than fireworks? This pyrotechnic holiday was always my Grandpa's favorite because it also doubled as his birthday. When he was young he was convinced that the fireworks bursting in the nighttime sky was in his honor. Through the years a tradition was born, every year on his birthday cake instead of candles we placed sparklers and sang "Happy Birthday" to Grandpa as the sparklers spit their light and ashes over the soft frosting. This year Grandpa's Snickerdoodle cake was dressed up with red and white stars and a shower of edible sparkles shooting up from the center of the cake. Happy Birthday Grandpa!
